i logically understand there are ways for life to get better, ive tried and it only had helped short term and just not been sustainable, it just feels like an endless loop of trying and failing over and over again which isn't a real solution. The only thing that seems to consistently help me is actually openly talking about it, which i can only in places like here

Fixing the underlying causes. Of course, that isn't necessarily possible. I have a combination of causes which make me suicidal. For example, I have acne scars. They make me feel terrible about my physical appearance and if I spend a lot of money maybe I can reduce their appearance by some percentage, but they can't really be fixed. I'm stuck with them until I die, and they will always make me want to die.

I feel the same. Though honestly a bunch of money would probably heal me right now. I also need for the US government to calm down.

Literally.

Reaching for help is a big hurdle for me. 988 doesn't really do anything :/ But I can at least answer my psychiatrist checkup questionnaire next week with how bad I've been feeling and not back down on it afterwards. I don't know about therapy but I'd like stronger meds... 😢

Theres just so many things, going from personal things like childhood trauma to bigger outside things like the currently state and crualy of humans, to inbetween things like my personal experience with discrimination. i know i can't just fix most of these things in my life time as if they're easy especially not alone but its so hard not to feel completely hopeless about it

Yes i relate, even when i do reach out it never really seems to go anywhere, i feel like i never truely get what im asking for across. i feel like most of therapy being based around talking in direct person doesn't work for me, even writing these posts and replies is pretty hard for me and takes a lot of time. It just feels like the world isnt made for people like me.
