• Hey Guest,

    We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

    Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

    Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

    If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

This is not a rethorical question;

I mean does anybody know what is the actual procedure the services go through after they find you?

Will they discard all of your stuff, will they contact your family even if they are abroad?

I am an expat in UK and I feel I am finally close to put an end to all this.

I already sent over in my country the testament but I am worried about some of my belongings like my electronics for example, in which important documents and personal data is contained.

I was wondering if I had left a note next to me for the (police I assume) to send it over to a trusted person, would they do it or keep them on hold until said person reaches out for them?

And will the people I care for be forced to see the body even if say I'd keep my documents on me to be recognised?

Apologies if this sounds like a stupid question, but I was hoping someone in here had witnessed the aftermath of something like this and could give me an idea of what to expect so that I could plan things accordingly

Thanks

I don't know for sure but I imagine they will try to find next of kin. Obviously, you could make that easier for them by leaving their details. I imagine it is then up to loved ones to claim possessions etc. Also- the body I guess. I suppose they make a decision on whether to have it flown 'home'.

My neighbour died intestate (leaving no will.) They put out announcements in newspapers, asking for next of kin to come forward to claim assets and property.

I imagine they make some effort but, I'm not sure about posessions. I doubt they have the time/ resources to follow a list of wishes. I imagine, once they have got in touch with loved ones, it's surely down to them to sort that out. They of course could then hire solicitors etc.

Aye I think so too, most time is been shown that they cannot be bothered to put effort into actual crime cases go and figure something like this...
