• Hello Guest,

We will not be following or complying with the Online Safety Bill that was recently signed into law in the UK. This bill will not affect the operations of the site, nor do we have a presence in the UK to receive notice or fines that the UK Government may impose.

We would highly recommend that all users from the UK get some sort of VPN, and you should petition your lawmakers to let them know how you feel about this piece of draconian legislation.

I don’t really understand the whole livestreaming suicide thing and why people would do it, I guess people have their reasons, but I would like to die alone in peace, far away from other people.

I was thinking about this yesterday actually

the reason/why people live stream their deaths not just live streaming but CTB-ing in front of people in general wether if it's online or in person in a crowded area or a place your visit frequently like a job, school, etc.

I started to emphasize with some of the people who do this because I always thought people found my suffering and torment entertaining and I enjoy making people smile and happy so why not give them a real show for your final act

although it won't make them smile or make them happy it will traumatize them for a very long time and then I will never be forgotten and they will see the result of their rudeness, and mistreatment towards me or I would even invite them to hurt me as well during said performance and show them that they won

I used to fantasize about this a lot it is not healthy to dwell on those that have hurt you and seeking out revenge or wanting to hurt them in any way so I trying my best not to have those thoughts or visions and I don't but they come back every once in a while

so in conclusion, maybe the people who decide to CTB in front of any audience online or in person either don't want to be forgotten or they want to entertain those who have hurt them just so they know just how terrible everything was

I am not sure but I find it all very interesting and can relate a bit

I would never live-stream my suicide or even make a video about it because I don't want to end up on gore sites that would make fun of me in the end.
I always feel bad and upset when I see such an intimate and dark moment used online as a meme or as a joke or a shock video

it's like they won't let the persons in those videos rest

Live-streaming would show how well the new R2D ReBreather lll nitrogen asphyxiation device works. If it works as good as it should, that device will be a game changer.

what do you Think about streaming when you ctb does it effect you in any way ? and if you did does anyone would care ?
I personally have no issue with live streaming if you are responsible about it - no streams to areas where unsuspecting adults nor children wil see it.

It's something I would consider if done right. It resonates with me.

I think we have to deal with what is the person trying to achieve at the moment of their death, not what comes after. If it provides some comfort, no matter how misguided, it might be considered their last wish on earth.

I agree with you on that - there are a lot of cruel people - far more than I have ever expected

I am moving in the same direction

I’d be happy to live stream. As long as it’s a stream that won’t be seen by children or the unexpected

It’s a choice just like your method. And for some reason it resonates with me.

I don’t mind DM on it

I could never. I'm already extremely paranoid about digital footprint and all that crap. I don't want my last moments being on some website like liveleak someday. Plus no one would even watch XD

Everyone is trying not to be disturbed on their last journey and brought back to end up as vegetables! Think for yourself, does streaming make sense? You can also try to hang yourself in a busy market place at noon.
Even this forum is well monitored and the content is automatically collected and analyzed by research groups. You will find some research reports on SS in search engines.
It's just as nonsense to photograph your "tree" here and the Exif data with full gps is still in the picture! How thoughtless can you be?
