you might be able to produce it yourself combining carbon with sodium nitrate. I am planning on doing the same. No clue what purity it would come out at though

Unfortunately, if you have to ask, you're in a country where it's heavily regulated.

Probably faster and easier to seek other methods.

Sodium nitrate you can get on Amazon, and activated carbon you can get at a pet store. You will also need a blow torch and a metal bowl go react the materials together.
