I feel you. I was in similar situation where I went into an and e and spoke to mental health dr about things at home and told them I had overdose kit. I was put under section 2 just for telling what drug I was going to overdose on. They through due to my distressed presentation I was too much of risk to myself. After a week in hospital I was allowed to go home and basically told the psychiatrist that I was lying about having a overdose when in reality I wanted to be saved from the abuse at but they weren't able to protect me one bit. I have my complete list of thing to make my sn method is successful. Inpatient wasn't fun I was threatened a lot by other patients and it was very intrusive privacy wise and made me worse but if your truly want help I don't see any harm in trying but be realistic about the results. Uk mh are shit state right now and recovery is long hard lonely journey. Wishing you all the best.
