Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

this sounds like an extreme decision, but i'm 100% deadass. Lost my cushy office job back in January and recently got kicked out my apartment, so now i've been forced to move back in with my parents 😅 Since I got laid off, I've sent out maybe 400+ applications, got 5 interviews—yet nothing has panned out, just a constant stream of rejection. Hell, I've been scraping the bottom of the barrel and applying for low-paying menial labor jobs and still no luck. ffs i can't even enlist in the US military because of my fucking stimulant prescriptions (you have to be off your meds for at least 2 years before they'll take you in).

I'm kinda backed into a corner, so fuck it. This is really the only shot I've got to finally do something with my life. I think it'll be good for me tbh. It'll provide me with a sense of fulfillment and much-needed structure. I don't really think there's much left for me in the states anyways, so I may just opt to permanently reside in Ukraine as it's actually a very beautiful country (if i survive of course). And if i get smoked on the battlefield? Then oh well, got nothin' to worry about when you're dead lol. I've been wanting to fight in Ukraine when I first saw the invasion back in 2022, but they weren't accepting foregin volunteers without millitary experience back then. I'm fully aware of how utterly insane this sounds and honestly wouldn't advise this to anyone else without exercising some very careful deliberation first. But hey, the war will probably be over within a year or so anyways, shit's not nearly as bad as it was back in '23 or '24. well, wish me luck gng

why not go drive a dump truck, its cheap to get trained and only takes a week. good money lots of work, go work on the mines or something and make a ton of money then buy a house in a small town or something and chill

Good luck! I considered it briefly, but I don't have any skills that would make me super viable for them (still working on my nursing degree). If it's what you really want to do, then I say go for it. Just be aware of the risks and all that, and have a plan of what to do next if you come out of it alive lol

Since you've always wanted to do it, and the current circumstances are such in this disastrous country, everything you said is completely understandable. Ukraine will be honored to have you. Just be careful as you know.
