• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Alright, my apologies if this is a stupid question. Using thin rope, I have always failed to pass out when I wanted to CTB. I think, possibly, that the problem was the thin rope. I am wondering if using a standard neck tie will work for suspension hanging. Or maybe my anatomy will just not let me pass out with any sort of suspension hanging? I have tried countless times using a slipknot with thin rope. Any help would be appreciated. For reference, I plan to just kneel down and let my body weight to the rest.

It could, but it's best to use something stronger in case of tearing. Also you want something soft on the outside for comfort like velvet.

If you have a few bucks, look for 1/2 inch double braided dock line.
If fewer bucks available, look for a decent 1/2 inch rope. Something that will tie well and hold a knot.
Get a good slip knot too.
Ask questions if needed.
