I read on the SN Bible thread that you can use Haldol as effectively as any other Antiemetic when getting ready to take SN. I take 50 mg of Haldol through injection monthly. Should I switch to oral and if so how much Haldol should I take before SN. If injection will suffice, is it that amount that is already in my bloodstream that will prevent vomiting? Should I schedule my shot the day before using SN?

sadly, this won't work the way you'd want it to, since the two meds serve different purposes. more specifically, metoclopramide works by increasing gastrointestinal motility and is specifically mentioned in some methods because of this, whereas haldol works through balancing dopamine levels in the brain.
shortest answer: they work differently, are for different things, and it's not an appropriate substitute for metoclopramide.Similar threads
