I need to have a plan in place. This isn't possible to survive anymore. My family has completely given up on me and I just can't go on. I'm TERRIFIED to do this. I can't even practice because I'm so scared and have such strong SI. Im not even sure I'll ever be able to do this but I need to have it set up. I can't do it at home. Does anyone know if it would work in my car if I found an anchor? Possibly putting the rope through the sunroof? I'll probably never be able to go through with it and just have to die a slow painful death of the ailments that are currently killing me.

Im sorry to hear this.
My take on this is that you should put as much as effort as possible in ensuring the reliability in the method. For example checking if the anchor point is strong enough and etc.

A small mistake can leave you with permanent brain damage if something goes wrong.

Thats my biggest fear 😞 Maybe I'll have to find a tree somewhere instead. Thank you for replying 🙏🏼

Also whenever someone mentions partial hanging I just have to mention that I tried doing it myself and survived after passing out.
So even if you pass out its still does not guarantee death.

My backup plan is partial hanging in my car. In my head, it seems like it would work but I've never practiced it in the car so not 100% sure. The only logistic I need to work out is not being found for at least 30 minutes but being found after I pass. I know where to go to not be found but I think I wouldn't be found for a very long time.

I'm so sorry that happened 😞 Do you know how long you were passed out for? What was your set up like?

I passed out after a few attempts to try and go unconscious and then was woken up by my survival instinct i presume that made me think like someone was choking me and i needed to escape, very scary experience.

The setup was from a handle about 1 meter tall and I sat down to apply the pressure.

There's an idea I read about long ago, kinda gruelling but if you wanna try.

Tie your head to a tree with very long rope, acceleration => decapitation.

Or idk, maybe the same way but with short rope and only go far enough for the noose to tighten.

Although the height of a car isn't too high, it might allow you to be in a suspended position with your legs forward and the rest of your body "sitting in the air." You will have to test if it is a viable option... putting everything together as you thought and visualizing how everything would look.

In partial hanging, the more of your weight you can apply, the better. To be able to compress the carotid arteries easily and lose consciousness quickly.

Before any attempt, you should be 100% sure of your actions. At this point, it may not be the best course of action. If you're still feeling fear or insecurity, it's best to take it easy. A desperate action can only cause you more harm.

Back to the car topic..

If your car has a sunroof, you may also be able to tie the rope there somehow.

It's difficult since not all cars have the same design. You'll have to check it and find a good place to tie the rope.

Or use some interior structure that is strong and sturdy to tie and create an anchor point. And pass the rope over the roof of the car to the other side to tie the ligature.

Umm, perhaps the best thing would be to find another place. And avoid possibly damaging the car while testing.

Decapitation scares me too much 😭 and thanks I'll keep that in mind

Thank you for all this! Yeah I need to overcome the immense fear first before I do anything. I'm going to look at my car and see if I can make it happen. I appreciate it

That sounds awful. Yeah, scary to think that even with decent knowledge about the method, sometimes, things just don't go according to plan.
