two failed attempts - thoughts on CO by car?

New here, Hi. I've attempted twice with no luck (pills - benzos and oxy). Would like to go by CO in my car, but I keep reading that's unlikely to work? Trying to do this the least messy and horrifying way for those who find me (but I suppose there's no "good" way...)

I can't try and fail again. No one knows about the first two attempts. Been ready to go for awhile now. Super frustrated - it shouldn't be this hard. Thoughts or support are welcome. Thanks.

I read on here where someone tried CO and ended up just waking up to puke and a headache. doesn't sound pleasant. Plus you would have to have a ton of CO in the car but it takes a lot of prep so it doesn't escape the vehicle.

Only with a vintage car (say older than 1980). Modern engines produce almost zero monoxide, failure excepted

I read a medical report about a man who commited suicide by positioning his head beneath the car exhaust pipe right to the outlet and inhaling. He was a man in his forties and was found peacefully laying down. Ever since I Read It I was interested because just doing it in a car won't work as per poster above me.

My step dad succeeded doing it like this,I can't tell you how though as it was 3 days untill he was found, so it is possible. He was an engineer so im guessing he knew the best way to do it.
And judging by the video he made while doing it, it happened really fast and he did have a bad headache while doing it.

Thanks for the responses. I wanted this to be an option, because it seemed like it could be peaceful (and cheap) and slightly less traumatic for those who found me. But yeah...I don't see it working. If I knew how to remove the catalytic converter, maybe....but nah.
