I am not trying to scare anyone but I believe the more knowledge the better. This is an actual medical study with autopsy report. GRAPHIC PICS TW!!!!! I found what they had to say about SN extremely interesting and I thought others would as well. I apologize in advance if it's to much for some.

I thought the most interesting part was the autopsy and report validated a lot of the claims about SN here. Although they couldn't go into how much pain the process produced of course.

One thing that was interesting here was the "foamy liquid" that was found in the lungs. Wonder what caused that. Also, "the autopsy showed edema and hemorrhagic petechiae of the laryngeal, glottal, and tracheal submucosa and green-brownish foamy liquid in the tracheal lumen." Sounds like the SN does a real number on your throat as it goes down. That'd explain why it burns like acid reflux and feels like "bleach" to some people.

THIS. They always play that particular card with this website. They are right that detailed info is found here, but I've seen absolutely zero encouragement to CTB over the 2 years I've been on the site. Pro-lifers always play the "oh the vulnerable person was manipulated and coerced to commit suicide" card, and if it isn't that, it's "they were unsound of mind." Disgusting. They can't comprehend that people who kill themselves do so freely and rationally, and not all are impulsive or pushed to do so.

Also, anyone who CTBs should try to remove all traces of this site and the sources from which they acquired their CTB materials/resources. Obviously the cat is out of the bag now, has been for a long time, but it's a decent courtesy.

If it was something to do with a caustic or burning effect from the SN it would be in the esophagus or stomach.

I haven't actually opened the link to read as I don't really want to see that right now, but based on what you quoted alone I'm heavily suspecting she aspirated vomit. "green-brownish" could very well be stomach bile if she was fasting for a decent period prior to drinking it.

Yeah I noticed that as well to be fair most people with the 'keep them alive at any cost' mentality would see information as encouragement. As far as they're concerned no one should ever tell anyone anything. Lol

I don't want to see a dead body either. So when I read the title of the thread I thought "oh I don't want to see that today, and they warned me, so I won't open the link". That's typically how people handle that situation.

It's a medical report to increase knowledge in the scientific/medical community (we are not the intended audience but there's obviously nothing wrong with us reading) and putting pictures of her body could help other doctors/healthcare workers ID what is going on because SN isn't particularly popular.

Photos are often placed in medical literature for education purposes. And they cannot just post pictures anywhere. There are approvals and procedures and consents that have to be followed for it to be okayed. If they did not get proper consent and such they would not have been able to put photos in there.
