• Hey Guest,

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Around 2014-2018, I found an online website that was somewhat similar to SS. But it wasn't forum based: it was mostly facts and figures.

I believe it had a very simplistic url. Something like "Howtodie.com" or "Iwanttodie.com." Something in that vein... just straightforward.
It had a list of most popular suicide methods, success rates, risks, complications, etc, things to consider for each one. As I remember, it was written in a really neutral, informative tone. Neither encouraging nor discouraging, but simply presenting facts and allowing people to take in those facts in at their own level. In addition to the facts and figures part, I remember a short autobiographical section where the author talked about his own background and relationship to suicidal ideation. If I remember correctly, he had a failed attempt involving asphyxiation with a plastic bag. In my memory, the website was a black background with white text, but who knows about that.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Anyone have a link? I've tried really really hard to find it, but came up entirely short.
