Discussion Traveling to obtain N

Just want to add something here.If I go to Cuzco or La Paz,I would rather travel back down to a lower altitude and ctb since i would be worried about any effect altitude might have on holding the N in the stomach without puking it out.Just a thought.

Yes I am worried about the altitude too, so if I get it in Cusco I will go to Lima, La Paz... well that is my final choice so I haven't looked into where I would go from there, probably Sucre.

I'm still thinking of my future dead meat... I've found out that some (or all?) types of travel insurance include repatriation coverage. It seems to be a good option for not destroying documents. I'll try to learn more about it. But I can imagine the face of the insurance agent =)

Unfortunately suicide is rarely covered by any kind of insurance, it would have to be accidental, natural causes or murder for that to kick in. Else people would have suicide holidays and expect the insurance company to pay to get them back, insurance companies don't like paying out ;) but if you can make it look accidental then that's a good idea.

Given the costs and logistics involved in traveling to other countries, I'm afraid that N is just out of my reach, especially given that I'm not wealthy enough for traveling and also all the hassle of going through to find it in a foreign country and then bringing it back to the US. Mostly it's due to the cost of travel and N itself.

Yeah the costs are a big concern for me too. And also the long flight...

Oh trust me, travel is a colossal pain in the ass! Yes there are a lot of fragile people on this forum, and it takes a certain level of confidence to deal with all the planes and airports etc that are involved in getting to Peru.

Since I've joined this board, I think I've read about one succes story and that person only managed to obtain one bottle.
This was in Mexico I believe.

That street in Peru that is named in the PPH is a dead end street.
I knew someone who went there and got sent away again and again.
She returned home empty handed. It's time for a PPH update on South America.
