  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

And ofc, there are transgenders like Blaire White, Rose of Dawn (?) - with ideas that most cis-people can get behind - vs those like Dylan Mulvaney, Samantha Lux (who might divide rooms), so the community is not totally a monolith!
The reason "most cis people can get behind" their ideas is because they are right-wing, aka, they happily support the people who are actively trying to take their rights away. so much about your comment is wrong but I have neither the time nor the energy to even attempt to discuss this with you. please educate yourself using credible sources... it is the BARE minimum.

how horrible that people are turning this into a fucking debate. STOP playing devil's advocate on a matter you have nothing to do with, or know nothing about. and for the love of god, this is a suicide forum. instead of "well ackshully"'ing the OP, why don't you support them? I'm sorry if I contributed to this "debate" in any way; I will stop replying.

I am not trans but I will break every law for you. Times are scary rn and I don't blame you for how you feel. But please note there is a manufactured trans panic being purposefully broadcasted on all mainstream news to keep the people divided.
Please don't take your life due to this. It's always better in real life than what you'll see in the media. Millions of people willing to die for you. Remember the party responsible for the majority of trans hate continually loses the majority vote. Maybe manufacturing a trans panic is their way of taking drastic measures because they know their end times are near.

Hello, I don't understand that about trans culture or gender, for me the issue is very simple, man or woman and their preferences are something else, and if you could explain it to me from your point of view it would be great
What I don't like about that are the surgical operations that certain people apply, what is the point of destroying the body? In the same way, the use of hormones that in the long run will generate chronic diseases, according to me are unnecessary and extremely dangerous expenses.
Regardless of what I exposed, it is your body and you will see what you do with it, and I would like to know what are the drawbacks you have to be able to give a better opinion
I have not met trans people in real life, I have met gays and lesbians, and they are people like one, I don't see the problem in them
be well, regards
Im sure you're already bombarded with replies but if there's anything I'd suggest to help you understand transgenderism … please research "intersex" people and their statistic prevalence amongst the population.

Gender is absolutely a spectrum, the only reason you think it is binary is because societal programming.

Also if you're trans and reading this, I'm not trans but I highly recommend using intersex as an example of explaining transgenderism. It's the most indisputable way of explaining that gender isn't binary. Once people understand that, transgenderism is indisputable.

i'm not trans but i understand what you dealing with.
i am a gay person in russia. i have literally no rights here.
all the time i hear politicians talking shit about gay and trans people, teachers discussing how it's awful that gay people exist and how glad they are that it's "not allowed in our country"
so future seems not so bright for me, i don't have enough money to live in europe, i doubt i can even get a visa at this point.

Yeah. Already struggling with myself because of dysphoria and family but this might just be the final straw.

As a trans person I am in an incredibly good position as I am getting gender affirming healthcare, and although it is not htat easy to acquire I don't have to pay much myself. My country is also trying (albeit failing) to pass some legislation to make it easier. I have found good friends since starting transition too.
But it still all feels so pointless. I started way too late (29) and I will probably never pass. I will either have to hide from society or deal with the transphobia directed at me.
I also missed out on a lot of life by isolating myself almost completely the last 15 years. I don't really have hobbies or things that make me happy. I jsut have things that help me pass the time.
So it all feels incredibly pointless and a real slog to get through each day. Only reason I really keep going is because what other choice do I have. Ctb seems so hard.
I just think if I weren't trans my life would've gone a lot different or at the very least there'd be a lot less to worry about. so yeah it definitely plays a role in my thoughts to ctb

Yeah, I'm doing it sometime in the next year or so depending on how stuff goes down. Lost the one person I really cared about enough to stay with because my reliance on her crippled me mentally and made her hate me. For a moment I was stupid enough to think love could exist but I forgot I'm fundamentally unlovable
