Some of you don't agree with this but I want this to be a legitimate discussion.
Whether you like it or not some people don't have guns or SN available to them, and other methods are just too difficult or painful to be relied upon. Hanging is quite difficult
Some of us don't have much other option other than jumping or train method.

I'm leaning towards the train method at this point.

I have some questions -

If the trains around my place that I have access to go 50mph, if I make sure my head hits the front of the train, is it likely death?

I've seen statistics about people being hit by cars, and apparently being hit at 40mph is very likely death - https://www.roadwise.co.uk/using-th...at 40 mph there is,chance they will be killed.

So logic would dictate that if I get to a train track where a train hits me at 40-50mph and my head collides with the front of the train, I'm almost certainly dead?

I hear a lot of horror stories about people surviving with limbs missing but what i also know from seeing footage is that a lot of these people are stupid enough to throw themselves underneath trains, sometimes even when they are slow moving.

I know a place near me that I can get under a fence and be on the track before the driving will see me coming. I will wear a mask to avoid driver seeing gore.

Would you step in from it head first?
If so then yes, your head hit first. Unsure about lying down on tracks but never thought of it.
I don't usually recommend but watch a video and see.

If your body gets dragged by or into the train then gore is gonna be inevitable and from within the mask your head could explode outwards so gore will again be seen.

This might be of use regarding train method if you haven't already seen it

Train method seems high, but I reckon the 17 mins is due to the people who went under the train and didn't get hit in the head

The data is mentioned to be averaged. Also when people lose consciousness in seconds doesn't mean death occurs in seconds, you just wouldn't be there to feel it(hopefully) but if one fails to lose consciousness fast enough......well

You would hope so, I was surprised to hear this guy survived, I had seen the full video and thought it was irreparable damage

Being instantly squished on pulverised sounds great

I understand people's concerns about using a piloted vehicle, would be great if there was a fatally quick automatic train just making the rounds

I know a place I should be able to access a 50mph train. Maybe that will do the trick.
