What can I do with the urge to swallow when I wear the tourniquet....because I did not feel dizzy for a long time when I wore it and I might have done it wrong but I don't know what I did wrong though....I have this constant urge to swallow so my Adam's apple goes up and down making me remove the tourniquet and wear it again....why isn't the tourniquet working...I swiftly rotated it...I placed it above my Adam's apple...I did everything right...but why isn't it working.....I only felt a slight pressure inside my head that's it.....pls help. This is the tourniquet I made 20230815 221448 mfnr

I'd place it slightly below your Adam's apple, so that you can swallow comfortably while still restricting your blood flow. And the reason you're not feeling dizzy is that there's not enough pressure on your carotids.

But they say it should be placed above your Adams apple because that's where the carotid are....I placed it in the area I can feel a pulse...I tightened it to the max...but I don't know why it doesn't work
Pls can anyone help me

Why don´t you just buy a tourniquet ? (amazon, brand name: TIME). I think your tourniquet won´t work. If you fail, permanent brain damage is possible due to hypoxia.
I only felt a slight pressure inside my head
You probably only compressed the jugular vein, but not the carotid artery.

But I tied it very very tightly...why doesn't my carotid artery get compressed?

Btw I also tied it below the Adam's apple and then my eyes got red....what ws the reason for that...does that mean the carotid was compressed?

below is wrong ! above is right ! Please read the guide.
Yeah I read the five last acts book and 8 know that above is right but eventhough I tightened it to the max I don't seem to be able to compress the carotid....also they say that you can pretty much use any material for the tourniquet...and I used a necktie....I still don't see what I did wrong.....I can't purchase a tourniquet because it will take too long to arrive

You see it´s not working, so use a different material. Your nacktie is already torn, so it´s not suitable. Maybe you can get a tourniquet in a store.
There is not only amazon.

If you can't locate your carotids, work up a sweat and it'll be easy as pie.

There are no reports on the success of this method if I am close enough I can try it
