Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Anyone else feels too lazy to live ? I often find myself thinking that even if I weren't so depressed, I would still want to die. Living demands so much energy and commitment and I can't do that. I'm not meant for this whole living thing, I'm too lazy

Will I ever escape from this nightmare?

Absolutely. I try and convince myself that I want to do things and so I should get up and do the things but I can't get myself to do anything because I don't even want to do those things. I'm to tired, emotionally, physically, mentally. I feel like I only get myself to do the bare minimum by leaving things till the last minute or while I'm 'on a high'.
Yes I do have adhd, yes I've been medicated for years, yes I've talked to my therapist about it, and yes I'm still not able to get myself to do shit. The thought of having to live and keep doing stuff makes me so sad, anxious, annoyed, and over all overwhelmed to the point where I can't do anything. I end up calling into work, just lay there, not really watching whatever 'show' is on, not really moving, not really thinking, but not not thinking. I hate the idea of life alone, I can't stand living it.

Yeah, nothing really matters since death is certain. Nothing I do will have anything to do with me after death. Life is just full of entertaining distractions
. I do the bare minimum just so I don't suffer (and in case I change my mind for some reason). Adding to this, I've never felt a strong desire for life. Just an aversion to the uncertainty of death. Another part of me wants to face death just to get it over with. Even if you were to give me everything in the world and all my desires were achieved with nothing asked in return I'd probably still want to die (Maybe it would delay it tho).

I think our hubris has over complicated our way of life. It's so silly really.

Yeah, I feel the same. I think about all the things i could do in the future, but literally everything requires energy and motivation, which I severely lack even on good days.

I have had a serious chronic illness for years that, at times, can really impact my ability to do things. I know when I feel a bit better I have motivation and energy, but when I'm sick there are days like today and my fucking house could be on fire and I genuinely don't know if I'd be able to make it out in time.

Clinical depression can cause physical fatigue, but other health conditions can too, so it's a good idea to get anything like this thoroughly checked out by a doctor.
