A very useful and helpful addition to the forum. Thank you for your contributions and sorry you've suffered so much in this life.

This seems ironic, given that OP chose, and may succeeded with, something people in this thread were saying wouldn't work. I think we're a little too tough on some of these methods.

Gosh, girl -- I am both so sad, and so very hopeful at the same time. I remember when we talked because you were so worried about how your cat was gonna handle your leaving. How you, even though you were in such pain -- and that was WAY before the in-patient shit, you losing your job and your health spiraling downward -- your first thought was how your baby was gonna take losing you.

It seems like you started the megathread about methods to not try just yesterday, and I remember being so ... Impressed, I guess is the right word ... how, even though you were actively suicidal, at the same time you were concerned about others and hoping to lessen any discomfort, pain and/or fear they might feel. A lot of that concern came from the pain and discomfort you had had to deal with personally from failed attempts.

I check this thread several times a day, and am now starting to have a tiny bit of hope that you may have FINALLY achieved the peace you were so desperate for. Though I will miss you terribly, I am so hopeful your mind is quiet and you are at peace now. May you be at peace.
