• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

you see the method of dropping a plugged in toaster into a full bath used a lot when someone is joking about suicide, or as like memes online and stuff
how realistic is this? would it kill you?? just really fuck you up??

its for my own curiosity really, im pretty deadset on jumping. i always wondered though

Not reliable. 120 or 240v is low voltage compared to the electric chair.

Now a days not very likely unless you live in an old house where the wiring hasn't been updated and you have an old toaster.

On the other hand, if you ground yourself to the high tension power lines overhead, that could do it. But if it doesn't you might be permanently charred here and there.

Ah yeah that makes sense. I can't lie it's not surprising given all of the other safety features

This is so brutal, I don't want to imagine my pussy being shocked. How terrifying and painful. I would be very toasted

Right. There can't be a ground fault interrupter, AND a toaster or appliance which doesn't have a cut-off circuit. Even then it's probably not going to succeed because it's not enough volts and current. (It makes for a nice movie scripts, however).
