Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

I really need to find new ways to SH because cutting is too obvious. What I mean is when someone sees a row or cluster of scars all in one specific area, their first thought is "that person's cutting themselves". And also I just am at a point where I feel I deserve pain in any way shape or form and I really want to burn. Maybe this is obvious but I'm just wondering if there are different ways to do it, like, to have less or more tissue damage. And also does it smell? Any other forms of SH other than cutting that you have tried?

It will smell, depending for how long you burn yourself, and where. The more hair you burn, the worse it smells

I've tried pretty much everything. Cutting, burning, scratching, biting, hair pulling, forcibly greening out, etc etc. Burning is pretty low on my list of preferred SH methods as yes it does smell, and healing is pretty nasty. It's also highly prone to infection. If you're truly intent on burning, I'd recommend doing what I always did which is lighting a match, blowing it out and immediately pressing it to the skin. It hurts VERY bad but isn't going to fuck you up quite as much as putting a straight flame to your skin.

That being said I'm not a medical professional so take that advice with a grain of salt. If you do it enough it will still look suspicious and people will ask about it, so keep that in mind too.

I'm a cutter who turned to burning because cleaning blood was too much fuss. The scars I have from burns are 10x more obvious than the ones I have from cuts (I cut from fascia to fat). Some are raised and dark, sometimes they're barely visible but they go a deep red when it gets warm. It depends how you scar but if you're going for less noticeable, burns definitely aren't the way in my experience.
