It's crazy how fast the time is flying... It's been exactly a year since we met and now we are living in two totally different conditions. It was only a brief meeting but we shared such great chemistry and I hope he didn't think that I wasn't interested in spending more time with him. I would have loved to spend the whole week with him if I didn't have to deal living with my crazy, narcissistic parents. If I did that, I could not go back to the home without a big conflict for sure because of how overdramatic they are and how they wanted me to be act like this perfect angel all the times despite them having dirty pasts themselves. They are probably the definition of parents from hell...they were obsessed so much with controlling me and fulfilling their own selfish agendas instead of letting me grow as a person and make my own choices and mistakes as an adult.
However I realize that he was dealing with his own issues too and he needed a strong, independent woman...not someone like me who was acting like a damsel in distress. But sometimes when I think about the past, I can't help but wonder what if things happened more differently back then.
