Can anyone give their thoughts on methanol poisoning and would it be a viable ctb method? My only concern is the time it takes. Like if I made a night of mixing drinks replacing alcohol for methanol, would I need a place to stay somewhere where I can be alone for a weekend for example. I read somewhere that 250ml is fatal for a adult and 2 tbsp for a minor etc.

Take from this what you will but you really need to do more research. It is not remotely reasonable as far as comfort. If you want to ctb, you need a method that won't have you running/calling for help that will lead to an involuntary hold and blindness.
