Interesting how they use the word "normalized" with a negative connotation; while in psychology this is usually viewed as a positive thing: to know that your reaction to overwhelming emotions or circumstances is normal and there's no shame in feeling suicidal.
O well! the deep dark unregulated abyss of the mother of all evils, the internet, is to blame again, as always; not the teachers, friends, family members who didn't even notice that a person they supposedly cared so much for was under so much pressure for such a long time that they saw no other way out than killing themselves.
Edit: "We couldn't work out why our gorgeous, adorable future-looking Molly did this". See the irony? Maybe your daughter needed to talk to people who could relate to her. I'm not trying to blame the parents or anyone in particular; but to be able to talk to people who understand without the risk of getting sectioned and drugged by authorities; isn't that understandable ?
