They tell us what to do, and they claim it's for our own good — but the truth is, it's for them. From birth, we're handed over to systems that mold, command, and confine us, not to nurture our freedom or happiness, but to keep us compliant, useful, and silent. Education teaches obedience, not curiosity; it conditions us to accept hierarchy, routine, and submission, not to question or create. Work becomes a lifelong leash, where our survival is tethered to labor that drains us while enriching others — not because it fulfills us, but because someone else profits from our exhaustion. Healthcare is sold as compassion, but it's rationed by wealth, and when we break down mentally, when the pain becomes too loud to hide, they don't listen — they restrain, diagnose, sedate. Psychiatric wards become warehouses for the inconvenient, where cries for help are pathologized, where resistance is renamed noncompliance, and where your voice is stripped away under the pretense of healing. Law and order pretend to protect, but they serve those with power, punishing the vulnerable to preserve the illusion of justice. Every institution — government, school, hospital, employer — operates not for our benefit but to maintain a structure where we are manageable, profitable, and docile. And if you dare to step outside that system, if you say "no" to a life of coercion, if you declare that the pain is too much or the game is too rigged to play, they don't try to understand — they try to control. They call you sick, lazy, broken, rather than admit that the world itself is sick with inequality, cruelty, and silence. But what if the despair is not dysfunction, but awareness? What if seeing through the lie is the first act of freedom? They fear those who refuse the script, who stop pretending that this is fine, because truth threatens the whole design. This isn't care. This isn't justice. This isn't healing. It's management. It's suppression. It's a system designed not to uplift the broken, but to keep them out of sight, out of mind, and under control. And until we see that — until we call it what it is — we remain caged by a lie wrapped in the language of help.
