Ooh, Tomodachi Life LTD was also a game that cancelled out my plan when it was revealed lol. I kinda locked in and got myself a used broken switch from my cousin that I fixed just for playing it. It's really fun!
I think rather than part 3, they should make another game set in a different place. I haven't play any TLoU, just watched the the first one, but I think the original story is pretty much completed. It would be cool to have another story set in the same universe.
This one I was expecting to come out as soon as possible. Maybe it will be RE3 scaled so it's much smaller compared to other mainline games. Also I got a feeling that it will be a first person style ReSi just like RE7 and RE8. Capcom has been printing ReSi stuffs left and right now, even before the RE7/RE2make boom.
Yay! Hopefully the wait won't be too long. I can't believe the FFVII Remake trilogy is finally coming to a close after all these years.
That won't come out until the 2030's because they're still making a game called Intergalactic The Heretic Prophet but yeah I wouldn't mind playing that also.
I would be so pissed if they took the RE3 route honestly, they butchered that one. CV doesn't deserve that, in fact, if they do it properly, it could be the best RE ever, or firmly Top 3. What I disagree is that they will make it FP, if anything, they could go RE9 style and make both options, but only FP I seriously doubt, especially considering the previous remakes were all OTS (bar 1R obv).
Same with Persona 6 for me. I know I said the suicide postponed meme, but even if P6 is releasing in one or two years, I wouldn't be able to play it because my PC specs won't suffice and it will be expensive (well, I got faith on ATLUS delivering a well-optimized game cuz Metaphor Re:Fantazio runs flawlessly on my old laptop). And ATLUS got a bad habit of releasing an enhanced version of the game a couple years after the original release, so might as well wait for that.
Yooo, we're from the same country. Same struggle, but I've acclimated myself to the whole ordeal in terms of gaming. I guess rather than money, my biggest issue is PC specifications, as I'm using an old laptop. I can instantly withdrew my hype when I see a really good game, knowing I won't ever try it. The gaming industry keeps hiking up the hardware requirements, so I learned to just let it go. I was really hyped for Ace Combat 8, but seeing the hardware requirements for it, I just accepted the fact that I won't ever play it.
Yeah going by two modes of gameplay is what capcom should do. Once they did it for RE9, there is no going back. I just got the impression that it will be first person oriented because of the cutscene in the trailer. I was kinda hoping that capcom remake RE0 first because I love Rebecca and people say it sucks, but CV is awesome too and people has also been saying it desperately needing a remake like 0. But I digress, I hope capcom maintains the RE9 approach and learned their lesson RE3make. However, I won't get my hopes up too much. I doubt Capcom will treat it as a mainline game.

SAMEEEE. Oh my god the first two Max Payne is some of the most fun games I've ever played. I mean the old games is still fine and I will prob still prefer the old ones, but a remake is still a better route to take rather than another sequel (Max Payne 3 is still goated tho). I wish they keep and fix the old Max Payne(s) though, I'm glad I got them on Steam before they got delisted.
You're not alone in that, I much prefer older games than newer ones. In my case, maybe because I'm from a 3rd world country, most of my friends still talk about older games. Still, a lot of games have been played and discussed to death so a lot of games seems to be forgotten, and honestly me and my friends tends to treat games as a personal experience rather than a fandom or active discussion thing. Though I guess in my case, 3 of my fav games of all time (maimai, Space Station 13, Yume 2kki) are still being talked about despite being ancient (not retro though) because they are still getting updates and have active communities to this day. I'm with you though because the other fav games of mine is either dead (Red Orchestra 2) or milked (Steins;Gate). Also talking about old games are fun, since I follow Shin Mgeami Tensei and Persona spaces, I still often talk and enjoy fan contents about the games.
