• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I'm serious. Write your obituary.

I updated mine periodically and it's powerful.

Pick out your age and your manner of death. Died at age 35 of leukemia. Died at age 23 by suicide. Be creative.

Write about the things you loved to do and all the best qualities other people see in you. Write about your surviving friends and family.

Write about an amazing person. Then commit to getting to know that person while she is still alive. Fall in love with her. Invest in her.

And you won't need that obituary.

There can be a down side to writing an obituary. Some might find it can feed an inclination towards glamorizing one's own death. While intending to build self-esteem, it may actually do the opposite so one should be cautious..

I'm an author so when I wrote my own obituary, it actually motivated me to die. I thought, "Dang, this is good! I can't let it go to waste."

Died at 60 by suicide.

Survived by 1 brother and 3 cousins. She loved creating art and bringing beauty into the world into a nonconformist way. Loved and cared for animals and had an amazing career in nursing. Spoke 2 foreign languages and her life was lived on her own terms always.

That was fun 😊
