Would you be more distraught to figure out a death on your own, or having a personal letter written?
A personal letter would give the recipient a sense of 'why' you CTB. However, I question if it could also inhibit feelings of guilt, or cause unnecessary emotional pain to the recipient. I imagine them receiving a letter, but they are unprepared for the context. That could cause quite some distress. I do know there is distress either way.
And so I ask, What are your thoughts on this?
