Yes, though remember: There is always the possibility that it's not true or not quite as described.
Not saying that this is the case here, but it wouldn't be the first time that someone self-harms and then posts to garner attention and an outpouring of concern from the community.
What needs to be very clear IMO is that even a small amount of SN can absolutely be fatal and SN should not be used for suicidal gestures. It kills. Period.
