Just a little story I wanted to share. There is a drug I need to keep my kidneys from being damaged. At least that's what the doctors always told me. Now sometime ago some company acquired a license for this drug. And they ramped up the price 10x. Which means 36 units now cost about 1,000 euros. So my doctor refused to renew my prescription. He sent me to a specialist instead. But when I went there this guy saw the price-tag and just laughed at me. Well, here I am running out of this stuff.

That's just one little piece to the puzzle of why I don't really want to be here. Sure, things will probably hopefully work out. And one might say that's not a good enough reason. But what's good about a life that consists mainly of stuff like this?

100% agree.
The irony of it all.
Doctor's visit: You need to take care of yourself more. What will you do with the money if you aren't healthy?
Me, in my head: Pay for your consultation fees and the ridiculous meds. If I wasnt such a workaholic I wouldnt be able to afford you and your meds.
