I will probably boycott the world cup. I am not sure whether I will be strong enough if Germany was in the final though. But I think we are out pretty early.

Don't want to ruin it for others. But in my country there is way more coverage on the ethics of this world cup than about the matches.

So Germany is already a world cup winner in hypermorality.

Who will win? My guess would be France. But I am not that deep into the topic compared to several years ago.

About topic: Ever since I was a kid I never supported my HC (Brazil) and ppl used to call me "vira-lata"(mutt) all the time. Never undestood why you have to root for a team just because of your nationality ?_? I always root for Germany because I like their playstyle, and I'm rooting for Netherlands too because of a bet. Also, hoping that Ghana makes it out of their group. I can root for any team if I start to sympathize with them mid-tournament too.

Ecuador might become the dark horse of the tournament. At least that's what I'm hoping for. That first goal by them with the captain was beautiful.

The ref denied Qatar a penalty kick when the match was 0-0. Senegal's second goal was from a robbed corner kick. There was a dirty foul in Qatar's favour that could have resulted in a red card.
