Reminds me of my late father. I swear he told so many stories of stupid shit he did when he was younger like blowing up stuff in a junk yard with his friends and running away when they accidentally made too big of an explosion and had to book it. Then he turns around and says never do stuff like that always be safe ect. ect. It's like this is dumb as all hell never do this but boy was it amazing. Not that I would have liked to do that kind of thing it's just funny to me.
A lot of things I did, well I hung out with a group that was basically 50/50 boys and girls (it varied who was in it) so a lot of what I did as I was closer to the boys (not intimately, just friends), was stupid crap. I swear i had to run away from people, escape a crazy guy with a gun (idiot 'friend' led us into a no trespassing zone through a swamp... the idiot), racing, cemeteries after dark, trespassing.. lots of trespassing... omg the amount of times I could've been arrested. But... I didn't drink illegally! Even though we drove by the places where they did lol, we even hung out at a house that was next to that place as a friend lived there.

And I wasn't even invited to all the places they went... like come on.... but they were 'protecting me' yeah right. They just knew I would've done something stupid lol. I was totally unpredictable, I drove over a sidewalk, at night, in a park, after dark, just because someone said I wouldn't do it, in a split second decision at about 30mph.

@BlueWidow,
If your pharmacy substitutes different generics/brands of thyroid medication, that can cause symptoms similar to those you described. It's like a sudden rush of thyroid hormones because of uneven absorption.
The thyroid medicine I take is Armour Thyroid and there is no generic equivalent. That's why I have to pay an arm and a leg for it every month.

I got to do art therapy when I was on the psych ward as a teenager, but we never got to do any music therapy. I would've really enjoyed that because I loved music. Still do. Course, I can't play an instrument. But I can sing really badly and off key! And I have all the lyrics to pretty much every song ever written in the 1970s and 80s stuck in my head. I've always believed that's why I can't learn anything new. I've got too many songs from the 70s and 80s stuck in my head. There's no room left in there for anything else. LOL!

You sound like my husband. He had a bunch of older cars and he liked to get in them and get on an old straight road somewhere where there wasn't a lot of traffic, and then he'd say, " Let's open this thing up and see what she can do".
The last car he ever owned, he was going down to the airport and having to get the gas for it there because the modified engine he installed would only accept the same kind of fuel they use for airplanes and you can't get it at a regular gas station. It was highly illegal but he found an airport employee willing to sell him $49 worth of fuel under the table once a week. But the guy said he couldn't sell him $50 of fuel because then he would have to report it.
I also sing terribly off key :D so I gave the music therapist a suggestion on what to play next. I picked the song "A reason to fight" by Disturbed

At least you sound really fun to me. Unpredictable is better than boring by a long shot. But yeah I was never the daring type so I wouldn't trespass or anything like that. Though running over a sidewalk I might do as long as no cops are around. Sometimes I wish I had done more stupid shit when I was younger while I could have still gotten away with it. Now I can't do anything without feeling like I'm just going to slip into a trench full of bad consequences.

@Carina
Or should that be Car—ina?
I had a SmartCar which I absolutely adored. It had a 1 litre 3cylinder Mitsubishi engine but it could do 90 mph.
Of course, crazy people would tailgate me to put it to the test, and I'd look in the rearview and see their eyes widen above 70!
People would also turn left about six feet in front of me, and I would make my "psycho" face and keep coming—-then you practically see that they were going to need a change of underwear shortly!
It was also rear wheel drive, so awesome in the winter.

Thanks :D But yeah, not always the best thing, and I was totally going to throw them under the bus had we gotten caught lol.

That's funny! Those cars are so small they scare me! I like midsized things that don't look like they'd tip over if a leaf fell on them lol

I know a couple that was doing 70 mph at night on the highway, and they hit a cow. It didn't end well...for the cow, but they walked away with bruises from their seatbelts. 11 airbags, and an awesome roll cage.
Another guy in my online car forum rolled his 8 times on the freeway-into ditch. When first responders arrived, they expected carnage, but the driver was standing beside the car, trying to get the door to shut properly:)
European Engineering!
You could buy different colour panels and use a dinner fork to swap them out in about 45 minutes, you could change the colour of the car.
You could also cook food on the engine!

It doesn't sound like she's doing very well today. I think she's had several days of insomnia now or nights of insomnia. :aw:

Oh and the new virus that's in my county? Nope, 1 mile from me rofl. Yep, talk about close, oh and by "1 mile" I mean I've driven by the place the person's been, so technically "within 500 feet" rofl

I didn't say she wouldn't be here. I just said she's having a hard time because she's been having insomnia. I'm sure she's around here someplace. I know she'll show up again on the thread eventually. :heart:

These were paper. Not worth saving. Plastic is for cat litter

Paper is nearly impossible to find around here. It's bad enough that we get a local government charge of 5 cents per plastic bag.

I can still recycle paper. I just use my plastic bags for garbage and stuff because you can't recycle them anymore. I'm sure we're probably being charge something too for plastic, but I have no clue how much.
