People, including me, have a difficult time adjusting. We should just keep the clocks at one setting. There's no real need to go back and forth. Choose one and stick with it.

This year was the worst because my cognitive function has declined to the point that I was certain it was autumn! I was horrified when I realized that it is March!
(To be fair, it's minus 22 outside, and we got 8 inches of snow overnight).

Interesting, because farmers don't like it because it messes with dairy cattle who need to be milked every 12 hours. I am udderly serious here! They blame it on retailers (Townies!!!)
Edit: The farmers blame it on retailers. The cows just want to get rid of the milk before their udders explode!

I was always told the change was only for light reasons. It saved candles/power..

Some say it's literally in the name---it's just to make it for better use of daylight.
But really, we do things 24/7 with lights, and work places don't care about the sun.

For me, what happened today was that after I posted my indecision about what to do with the day, my internet connection cut out. That removed the "study PGP" and "fritter away time on forums" options, which left only "go for a walk". I couldn't go very far because my gut is acting up, so I walked to a bench and watched other people walking by. The Freak Bar was open for a magic show, but I can't drink for medical reasons, and I've always felt that a non-drinker was not welcome in a bar no matter what the cover charge, so I did not go in.

Hmm, the same show is supposed to go on next Sunday, too. That's the 15th. Maybe if I have the taxes done by then, I can reward myself by going to the show.
