Can you post the links please?Though from what i've read from other people, it can work pretty well specially when combined with partial hang. At least it's what i've noticed people going for a lot recently.
As anyone found this "blob" like mentioned here? You don't have to squeeze your neck. Pull out your left hand. Sit straight. Face directly in the front. Use your thumb and the left index and middle fingers joined together to form a U shape. place your left thumb on the left side of your neck and the combination of index and middle fingers on the right side of the neck. Look for a blob that pulses. It should be a little above the adam's apple on either side of the neck. When you feel that pulse, push it inside to compress the blob. This blob is called the carotid sinus. If you do it right, you will feel dizzy and your vision will begin to fade after 5 seconds. If nothing happens in 5 seconds, you are doing it wrong. Keep experimenting till you do it right. And it works better if you have a lean and thin neck. I took around 15 minutes to find the sweet spot.
Wait I love this idea. I always thought about dying by having a bag hung over my head and peacefully in my sleepHey everyone,
Been talking to a lot of people in the chat and trying to explain this method, and one user wanted me to make a post about it, so here goes everything.
We're going after a classic idea of using a blood choke, except, it will be against ourselves. In the privacy of our own homes. In a fully relaxed state.
This method is fully capable and will kill you very fast. I know this because it's what we were taught in the Marine Corps.
First, you're going to want some Gorilla tape OR a tree ratchet.
Second, get two Sackhole/Cornhole bags.
Now, depending on what you're using, you'll want to lie on the ground and put the bags on these two exact areas on your neck (In blue).

The reason we're lying on the ground is that we want to be able not to have to fuss over putting the bags on us and making sure they don't fall out of place before we use the ratchet or the tape. You're putting the bags on these two areas to go after the internal carotid arteries.
Start cinching the ratchet closed or wrap the tape around your neck once. Is everything feeling good? I'm glad. If not, then uncinch it a little and place the bags. You want to make sure that you're not compressing the windpipe as that could cause you to freak out a little.
We want this to be painless and fast.
After you're comfortable, sit down if you want to or stand up. Do whatever you want honestly. Start wrapping the tape around your neck more and a little tighter or start closing the ratchet more.
In about 5-20 seconds you will pass out. After that, it's pretty much game over unless you somehow hit the ratchet release. That's why I said we could also use tape as well. With the gorilla tape, it will make sure that you don't inadvertently try to tear the tap off... because it will be strong as hell around your neck.
After you pass out, it will only take a few minutes, and you will be brain dead from the complete lack of blood flow to your brain.
I think I've explained this pretty well and I hope you guys understand the method. If not, please don't hesitate and I'm sure that I can help you out or someone else in the community can help you out.
I think, you have to try it out. First, practice finding your right spots with the fingers (don't make yourself pass out too often, it makes headache). When you are able to reliably find the spots, try if it works with the tennis balls. I think, for me it wouldn't work, I need small spots (like golf balls).Hey, I have a few questions.
1. Can I use tennis balls for this? They're quite light ("14% lighter than conventional tennis balls" is what it says on the packaging). If not, does anyone have other recommendations?
2. Do I have to put the tennis balls on the side of my neck or the front? Directly on the "carotid sinus" blobs? Because the blue area in the image is big and not very precise.
3. I can't seem to find these blobs. They are on both sides of the neck, right? When I feel my neck, I can feel pulsating areas and when I squeeze them or press them in, I sometimes get a bit dizzy, but I never pass out. Does anyone have any tips?
Thank you!!
Thank you. When pressing the right spot with your fingers, are you supposed to pass out quickly within 10 seconds, or can it take longer? Because I've thought I found the right spot, but after roughly 20 seconds I was still conscious.I think, you have to try it out. First, I am not an expert. I can only tell you what I read in the last weeks, what I tried, and what my thoughts are. Nothing has to be true.Thank you. And, when trying to pass out by pressing the spots, do you have to press them into the middle (on the left side of the neck, press the spot from the left and on the right sight pushing from the right), or press them straight to the back of your neck (on both the left and right side press from the front)
Edit:
https://sanctioned-suicide.net/thre...-using-the-night-night-suicide-method.177416/ Does anyone know if the guy in this video really used the night night method or did he just choke himself? Because it looks painful...
And when using the night-night method, do you make these loud noises like in the video?
Edit 2: can you use a regular belt instead of a ratchet?
There's something really likeable about the way you convey the information stored in your brain. I read earlier that you're .. going away soon. Best of luck, stranger. I hope to follow along soon. You are referring to people waking up from partial where some blood flow is restored to the brain and they become conscious again. This usually happens because of involuntary convulsions that shift the body. Remember, partial relies on an intricate balance of rope/knot placement, and body position. When involuntary movements start to happen, the slightest shift restores some or partial flow back to the brain, causing people to wake up in a panic, SI kicks in, and they desperately try to save themselves.
That is a completely different mechanism and why partial is so difficult to get right.
If you are referring to night night, SI only kicks in because people have such a difficult time blocking the carotids adequately, and instead are placing pressure on the jugulars and getting that exploding head feeling - this is what triggers SI and people ripping things off of them.
There is no such thing as SI when you are unconscious, so you are referring to instances where people are unconscious and then became conscious, in which SI became a factor. Or, they never went unconscious in the first place, and SI kicked in. It may *seem* like some anecdotal reports here were of people unconscious and saving themselves, but that's not the case. They were unconscious, became conscious and forgot about it, or were disoriented/confused.
This does not apply to my method, Once the carotids are occluded and you pass out, there is no waking up from that unless blood pressure is restored to the brain. You don't wake back up, therefore there is no "SI" to contend with.
It's ok, I was just trying to help, I didn't mean to turn this in to an argument.
Hope you find the peace you are after,
The thing is it's the only night-night video available so we can't compare, but most likely he did it wrong blocking his trachea, judging by the weird noises.https://sanctioned-suicide.net/threads/video-of-a-successful-suicide-attempt-using-the-night-night-suicide-method.177416/ Does anyone know if the guy in this video really used the night night method or did he just choke himself?
