You'd never believe how much I wanted a pet in the house growing up. My mum has kindly said, yes, we can get a cat and I was so happy, but of course this thing is always at the back of my mind.
I love the furry little beautiful creatures, but it would be selfish to upend a cat's life for my own comfort to abandon it in what - three months maybe? I've actually had the option since last November and I imagine if I'd chosen to get a cat how different would my life be?
What love and excitment would a lovely little creature bring to my life? That's been two months. I'm worried that this is another situation the "Can't make a decision/commitment until everything is perfect" mentality is holding me back. Maybe the cat would've given me purpose and energy. Who knows?
