I'm trying a little science project of extracting SN from prague powder.
I think I'd be lucky to get 60% purity but that should be good enough for my purposes and maybe I'll finally succeed at something.

But on your point, biology is science and we (imo) should understand how some of it operates if we want a better chance of success.

I'm no technician (financial operator), but I choosed this methode for me.
I also mentioned this "problem" in the megathread.
Its not that hard it looks like.
In the megathread, there is everything everywhere on 200+ pages, combined and squished with hightly technical stuff...
I think the first thread of TiredHorse (the starting thread) is pretty good and simple.

I think, the hardest thing on this is to get the tank and the fitting regulator with flowmeter.
This depends on your region (is it allowed to sell it to private persons?) and your living situation (alone?)
I can answer both questions with yes.
It was pretty easy to order the tank and regulator with flowmeter by the same company online.
It was delivered in a neutral truck with neutral package. The only thing is, you have to be there on delivery in person. It will not be delivered to your neighbours or so, just to you.

I don't know your living situation, but maybe this make it more possible for you. As far as I know we live in the same country, which make it easy for you to obtain the gas.
To make sure the regulator fits to the tank, I recommend to buy it depending on the gas, means N2 gas - N2 regulator (or Argon gas with Argon regulator, and so on). There are combinations like N2 gas and Argon regulator, but this highly depends on your region and you have to recalculate the flow of the flowmeter, which makes it more complicated.
The other stuff you can get easily on amazon.
If you have no hard body issues, the assembly should be no problem.

You can ignore the VR-thing. Its just my way to go

Huge industrial sized tanks? Mine just comes up to my knees. I put it in a little cart, threw a blanket over it, and wheeled it into my building (it isn't that light). I'm sure it just looked like a cart filled with laundry to anyone passing by.
