As a dad, I'm embarrassed on Father's Day because:
1. singled out in church for a special blessing, but I feel completely unworthy
2. my kids are adults now, so I'm not really a "dad" anymore
3. my wife hates me and my kids don't respect me
4. so many people hate the idea of the traditional family. they are wrong, but it's difficult to defend nowadays
5. so many fathers are/were abusive monsters, it puts one in an unpopular despised group even though I'm not like that
6. it's a stupid contrived "day" like the millions of other stupid contrived "day/week/month/years" for things
