The diversity here is intriguing

This is probably the most diverse community I've been in, which doesn't say a lot...I haven't been in many. But there's people of all sorts of ages, hobbies, political views, and religion. There's people from all over the world and a lot of LGBT+ here and it's really interesting to see such a diverse group of people gather together online and collectively recognize pro-lifers suck and try to die. It's really interesting to see how the country someone is from has caused them to be here. It's also cool to see the horrible situation and issues in other countries from first hand experiences. It's also sad that there's so much poverty all throughout the world and nobody wants to fix it. Then when we want to die, they would deny us the right.

The other diversity I found interesting was why everyone wants to die, some of us are physically ill, and some of us are mentally ill. Then there's poverty, and trauma. And some are here because they want to die later, they don't want to live through old age. Some simply wish they can control when and how they die. Then there's the ones who just hates humanity or society or both. There's people who deeply disgusted by life, then there's people who genuinely love life, but life wasn't kind to them.

I guess you can say life universally sucks, regardless race, creed, region, wealth etc. Death is the great equalizer

It's just the reality that wanting to die is perfectly logical in this dreadful world. So to me it makes lots of sense why so many people would come on here to find ways to escape from the suffering as after all there is unlimited potential to suffer endlessly as long as one is trapped here. I cannot understand how some people are apparently not suicidal, to me it just makes sense wanting to cease existing as to die would solve everything, preventing all future unnecessary suffering and it's all I know, I've never wished to endure existence and never could do.

Definitely and what I think is REALLY interesting- and refreshing is that most people will try to be understanding and respectful. We may not be able to really understand what another member is going through. Worse- there may be factors about their situation that trigger us- eg. their gender, their religious beliefs, their wealth. Still- most people will do their best to understand that they've found their way here for a common reason. So- on that level, we can all relate.

I love this community because I can relate to everyone and vice versa.
People here are compassionate and non-judgemental, unlike the normies of this fucked-up world.
