To exist is to stand within reach of suffering

Just as the title says, it has gone too far. I've never spoken about this online nor in real life but I feel like I have to say something.
It's not funny, it's not even mean. It's cruel.
If you're active on any social platform you probably noticed the mockery of India and its people, making up nicknames like "popjeet" or whatever…I don't know if I even spelled it correctly. What's the point of making videos of "being thankful" that you weren't born as a specific race, saying it needs to be deleted?
What if I, as a Slavic, said the same things about the black community? Would I also get thousands of likes and support for my racist behavior?
People need to realize that Indians make up 18% of the population, meaning that out of 100 people 18 are Indian, that's a huge number, and I bet not even 3 out of 100 Indians fit the stereotypes people made up about them.
Yes, there are horrible people everywhere as well as in India, but why are we generalizing? When did we lose humanity? When did we, as the human race, become so cruel and emotionless?
I can't imagine existing on the internet as an Indian and my heart goes out to them who face rejection and mockery just because they are from a specific country. Because no matter how much you deny, this should've never been normalized.
