It was a really awful smell even when i just open the bottle of formic acid to pour it into my 5 liter jerrycan. I use 1:1 roughly proportion of formic and sulfuric, but i dont get any gas through my tube oxygen mask from the water chamber. The hole connecting jerrycan and the 2 cm tube also leaking, i used so much tape and it still leaking. It releases the awful acid smell and I'm scared by pain and corrosion effect.

I hate the sealant glue because it needs 20 hours for it to dry, and I've been using it on connecting the 2 cm tube to plastic bucket for washing chamber and the water still leaking when i fill the bucket. It really drain me off. It's been days and i glued it few times but now I'm tired to glue it like it still leaking and I'm tired smelling the horrible smell of sealant rubber and it's also been dry perhaps. Can I have some suggestions for sealing the holes connecting 2 cm tube with jerrycan and the bucket? The fast and anti gas leaking. I couldn't glue the jerrycan before because some reason according my home and family to avoid suspicion

Vinyl tubing going through plastic containers doesn't need glue

For example you get a vinyl tubing with internal diameter 3/16 inch external diameter 5/16 inches , so u get a drill bit that is 1/4 inches 4/ 16 inches. Drill a hole in plastic container. Then You force the tube thru the smaller hole.

I cut few inches of one side of the top of vynl tube to fit thru smaller hole then pull it through. Cut diameter to half a few inches to fit through hole
