Many people think about suicide because they are carrying an immense amount of pressure, whether it comes from family, society, or religion. It is like a pressure cooker: if you do not find a way to release some of that pressure, you risk eventually turning it against yourself.
For that reason, talking about suicidal thoughts can be a healthy way to relieve emotional pain. Personally, I believe it can be especially helpful to do so anonymously or through a private journal that only you can access. Putting into words what your subconscious is trying to express can be a step toward healing.
However, it is important to be careful about who you choose to confide in. Not everyone has good intentions or the ability to understand this kind of suffering. Try to seek trustworthy people and safe environments where you can express yourself openly.
"I live only because it is in my power to die whenever I choose; without the idea of suicide, I would have killed myself immediately." emil Cioran
Take care of yourselves. That is my advice.
Carpe diem.
