What are you guys' experience with psychedelics like LSD?

I've had my first try two weeks ago and I can honestly say it was one of the best experiences of my life.
I was with a friend who introduced me to it and he set up a little projector which out glowing pattern on the walls and ceiling. Those were really nice to look at while tripping, in additions to some light psytrance music.

The overall feeling while on LSD is hard to describe, the loss of time is a big one. I felt like there was no past and future, only the present. And remembering the last minutes felt like they were also all happening at the same time in this exact moment. It was such a nice feeling.
I was overall also very introspective, thinking about many crazy things, also about suicide. I think it helped with my depression a bit, though I don't know if it's because I look forward to the next time or because something in my brain got rewired. Or maybe because I read up so much about it that it's just placebo.

I can't wait to take it again next weekend.

It's awesome to hear another person had a positive experience with psychs! I've taken a variety different psychedelics quite a few times over the last decade or so; My own stories range from euphoria to hellish nightmare, it really just depends on your mentality, the setting and a stroke of luck in either direction. Looking at pretty stuff with good music is probably perfect.

My strongest suggestion is to use it rather sparingly; human tolerance for LSD immediately doubles when you ingest it and takes a *minimum* 2 weeks to get back to baseline tolerance. It also acts hard on your seratonin receptors which need even longer to recover or you risk permanently frying parts of your brain (as "cop talk" as it sounds, thats literally what happens). Things happen quite differently in terms of the percieved experience just about every time. Please be careful to not permanently alter yourself for the worse trying to reach the same glory as the first time đź–¤ good luck and stay safe

I microdose shrooms whenever I'm especially suicidal and it has helped me a lot. There isn't nearly enough science done on why it helps, but from what I understand it is known for helping with depression. The idea of having the brain 'rewired' is one I've definitely seen a lot and given what I've experienced, I'm inclined to agree!

But I've never done any other psychedellic or anything. The one time I did a little too much of the shrooms I freaked out and felt like an idiot for overdoing it, so I'm pretty sure I'd be annihilated on the spot if I tried LSD lol

Doing psychedelics a single time was enough for me to experience a major improvement in my depression, paired with extensive emotional support from my friends and family in the following week after coming off the high. It really does make your brain more receptive to change.

I speak as someone who is usually very anti-drugs and hasn't done any since that one singular trip. It helped me the most out of anything, I agreed out of desperation to get better. Just make sure to consume in moderation and, in my personal opinion, just not use if you don't have to.

Yeah I've read a lot of positive but also negative stories in the way psychedelics can affect your brain and the different types of trips one can have.
My first time was a really awesome experience and I can't imagine how a bad trip would feel like give that I still felt lucid and in control of things. Though I also went outside during my peak and didn't have time to be as introspective maybe.
Was there anything specific you did or happening that lead to a bad trip in your opinion? How was it?

One of my first thoughts in my peak was why one couldnt just be on LSD all the time, that's when my friend also told me about tolerance and stuff. So yeah, im trying not to overdo it haha, but it's currently such a nice thought that I would to do it a lot more.
The current 1FE-LSD that you can get in Germany also seems to be more dangerous than older variants from what I have read, so that's something to look forward to.

Would you say overall it improved your life?

it opens up a good path in you, but it has its darker side and a nasty emotional hangover. If you're in a positive mindset you'll be fine. Mushrooms are far gentler and have never had a bad time on those. Ketamine is fun IN A SAFE SPACE. idk how people do ket trips in public, far too chaotic.

Yeah I've had Ketamine last weekend and while being fun, it really felt like I couldn't do anything on higher doses. Bein outside with that sounds impossible lmao.

Yeah the rewiring of the brain is a fascinating topic imo.
I'm Glad the shrooms helped you though.
