I went to the doctors today. I already knew the answer, but she confirmed that I can never get better, and there's no treatment or cure to make it slightly more bearable. Even ignoring my shitty mental health, I can't live with this much physical pain every day. I'm going to take all the co-codamol in my house. I've been prescribed 50 15/500, so that's 750mg codeine and 25000mg paracetamol. Is that enough to do anything?? I really don't know what else to do. Killing myself will hurt my sister so much, but I can't live like this either. I feel trapped.

I wouldn't know anything about codeine but I know that it's really hard to die from paracetamol overdoses. Actually overdosing in general isn't a reliable method and quite often doesn't workout. People end up under the impression that it's an easy way to end it due to how heavily depicted it is in movies as an easy and straightforward method. But I recon that that's pretty far from reality. I'm no expert though.

If I were u though I'd probably look for a more reliable method depending on what's accessible for u there's lots of info on here.

Also not trying to discourage u for say, it's ur life and you're allowed to do whatever u want with it. I just rather u use a method with a higher success rate and that will cause u less pain. Although again I don't know anything about codeine

Paracetamol does nothing. Took close to 30 tablets when I was a kid, maybe 14yo and it did jackshit, I didn't even feel sick. They're 500mg here in the UK per acetaminophen pill.

Even if you succeed you'll need a lot and then it's a slow death. Can take days, weeks or months as your liver (irrc) shuts down and it is excruciating.

Avoid it.

@sachaa do not, under any circumstance, take a massive dose of Tylenol and die of liver failure. You do not want that slow, agonizing death.

I had an attempt long ago, before I knew better, involving a large amount of codeine and many other things mixed. Woke up spewing vomit. Not a reliable method.
