Can you describe the experience please. Need to know what to expect. Did alcohol help?

I should preface this with my experience was kinda half assed since I was trying to do it kneeling instead of letting myself drop so I still had quite a bit of control.
Anyways....

I did it sober (I do not consume alcohol or drugs)
The moment the noose was around my neck I calmed down, working up to actually putting it around my neck was way more nerve wracking
It was very peaceful when I tried, it's like all my anxiety melted away
Honestly it didn't hurt much when the rope was around my neck, I could feel it pull on my neck but like it really wasn't that painful for me until after I removed it
I didn't leave it on long enough to pass out plus like I mentioned I had a lot of control in my attempt

However it was on there long enough to make me feel very woozy/lightheaded after I gave up
There was this gagging feeling and slight nausea but that died down fast thankfully
My neck did hurt after, it hurt a lot
It gave me a headache too but the neck pain was by far the worse pain

Hospital gave me a ct scan and all was well
