Help suicide/self harm in a psych ward?

hi im new here so i hope im doing this correctly.

im currently in a psych ward for suicide attempt and it hasnt changed my mind, i still want to kill myself. does anyone know any way i could do so whilst being here? they already took my laces, cables, etc when i tried to hang myself

It's not worth it. Any attempt will only get you locked in there for longer and longer. Wait until you're released.

how long of a time are you expecting to be in there? unless it's YEARS, just following their instructions will be easier. Any attempt there will have a risk of failing and seriously injuring you and delaying getting out.

definitely not worth it.. theyll keep you in there for longer even if you try starving yourself. it sounds like a long term facility though if youre able to have a device and cables but im not sure.. ive only been hospitalized as a minor so maybe the rules for those are different for the adult hospitals. if its short term just try to appear happy, eat every meal, and just lie to the therapists when you have to meet and you should be out in 3 days. best of luck to you ♡

its a short term ward so i might do what you suggested, but then when i'd be out i'd still not know how to kill myself lmao
