Venting Suicide is a sin

Well this in the Human condition to always find a purpose other wise he would give up. Specially in the hard time.
They aren't meaning to anything. No even the pain we endure.

I refuse the possibility that I've gone through 4 decades of this sh!t for absolutely nothing!
Fortunately, materialism/physicalism is just another belief that I don't adhere to.

I don't care if suicide is a sin. Why is it that every time I need comfort or reassure from someone I'm always reminded that suicide is a "sin" do you think I'll care about that? no, I've tried to commit suicide for the seventh time many years ago since I was 11.

believe me, I don't care whether I go to hell or heaven. You want me to care about my own life? You guys don't even care about my life, talking some bullshits about awareness when the only advice you gave me is for me to burn in hell for enternity if i ever kill my self, they say that life is something precious and we shouldn't throw it away, that's just stupid and foolish people. I hate everyone I hope you feel what I feel.

regardless on whether its a sin or not, sins are forgivable. you are not outright rejecting God by committing suicide, you are just coming to him sooner. people sin everyday billions of times a day and still go to heaven

I struggle with faith and being suicidal. I did some research and even asked my christian counselor about suicide being a sin. She confirmed what i read from some pastors. Once accepting the holy ghost god and jesus you are saved. They beelieve that one is not in their right state of mind when they commit suicide therefore they are forgiven. This had helped me tremendously to not be afraid of attempting and honestly pushed me a few times to try and break myself so i wouldn't be in my right state of mind. Was kinda of upset with my counselor who i really needed to hear yes its a sin to stop or hold me from ever attempting. Didnt get that fake reassurance i needed at the time. Hope this helps anyone struggling with both suicide and faith.

idk, we commit sins all the time. This one is not much different, but if it helps alleviate troubles you have, it is one of the better sins imo

Is it even really a sin in Christianity? I've looked it up and there seems to be a split in opinion. Apparently some consider it a sin fitting it under the definition of murder, and some argue it's not murder but is sinful because it destroys God's creation, but others don't consider it a sin at all. Maybe religious heads (priests/pastors) say that to scare people off of suicide, rather than it being theologically true.

Assuming we're talking about Christianity since I think(?) OP is European, correct me if we're talking about another religion.

To me, my consciousness existing in one form or another after death is the definition of Hell. I tried to explain this to my Christian friend, that your heaven would be my hell and there is no heaven for me. I'm clad that I'm not a christian and there will not be anything for me except...the sweet "nothingness".
