Method Suicide by medication

Please guide me in this matter.
Someone committed suicide in my country, the police found his body with empty packets of propranolol and midazolam.
I researched on the internet and propranolol consumption is more than 1000 mg is fatal, but I don't know the required dose for midazolam.
Do you think the person who died in this way was lucky? Or will anyone die if they take these drugs?

The midazolam is not fatal, it is just to hope to be unconcious when the propanolol kicks in. The propanolol has risk of seizures as well as cardiac issues, so I guess that is why it is not a well-used method.
