• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

What is the procedure like after a suicide attempt in the UK? What if you have a child?

Usually a referral to a NHS Crisis Team with a home visit each day or a inpatient ward if they see you as very high risk though they're often running at full capacity.

I'm not a parent but I can talk about my experiences.

I was taken to A&E multiple times and well they did fuck all basically. I waited around 8-12 hours each time in the waiting room to see a Psychiatrist and then they were like "There's nothing we can do for you, pop home and have a cup of tea or a nice warm bath and relax" and that was it. No follow up. Nothing.

The next day I would have a phone call with a nurse to make sure I'm still alive and that would be it.

The NHS is a joke and hates patients.
Let's not even get started on GPs.
