Discussion Parents contacted after suicide?

So im from the UK and if someone cuts off their parents and then CTBs the police would obviously contact the parents but what can you do before you CTB that would make sure they dont because just putting it in your note that you dont want that to happen wont mean the police wont contact them

I do not know for UK especially but i know that for other European country, if you are at least 18 years old then a note with your choice to not contact your parents can be enough. But i think it works if they have someone else to call. It's the only informations i have sorry. I hope someone here would have the answer for you.

This is so upsetting because i really dont want them to know especially my sisters and my dad :(

Even if your note displays as last wish to not contact them, if they are your only family I belive they will still be contacted because of the formalities and so.

Even if you have other people that arnt your relatives like a bf or friend?

I believe it depends the country, but usually it's only family or husband if you are married. I don't think your bf or a friend would be contacted rather than your parents or brother / sister. Also for legal issue (body identification, organizing funerals, legacy).
