I heard about the second one. those are super expensive and usually has monthes to years of waiting line. I don't think Lifecircle assist people with only mental illness hut without a physical one. Dignity do tho, but they're the same expensive and long waiting

Lifecircle + Pegasos: I know about the expenses (€10.000,- including tax)). That was not my question. It doesn´t take monthes or years. The processing time is 4-6 weeks.

Dignitas: €10.500,- plus tax + €2.000,- member fee. Processing takes 4-6 months.

Again my question:
Is there anybody that has been sent back home after he/she had doctors appointments in Switzerland ?

I applied for lifecircle on 2018, it takes 7 month for them to give me the first response. So, at least for me, the process time is NOT 4-6 weeks, although they might list so

Hi. In UK. Swiss legal requirements are high including timeframes between reports and assessments. Am Dignitas member accepted after assessments there but may need new documentation and certainly reassessing to be considered as 3 yrs ago. Am in 50s with chronic pain condition as well so may have helped ( particularly age).

Wondering if these tight time limits account for different time frames cited if ppl had to stop start? It's a case where you apply then broadly speaking your details are offered to various clinicians to consider. All documents therefore have to be ready together and there were stop starts along the way. Partly because in MH cases Dignitas won't assess if acutely ill.

Thank you for posting the links even though haven't answered your query . When I first started this there were 5 clinics in Switzerland assisting death but only Dignitas would assist foreign nationals.

May I ask are you going to life circle? I was interested did they give you green light and why did you choose them over dignitas/pegasos? This is the first time I heard of life circle.

I decided that Life circle is not the best option for me. The green light assessment costs $3000. If you pass, the following process would cost $7000-8000. And if you somehow give up in the middle, all the money are gone.

Thank you so much for sharing! Oh really, are you sure? I have looked into pegasos and it looks like one would "only" loose 1500€ if they dont accept you and pay back the rest. May I ask why you contemplated them and not pegasos? Have you chosen some other way if I may ask?

Pegasos requires applicants to he both terminal ill and not treatable (which I do not satisfy but maybe you do). Life circle does not need to be not treatable. I didn't check the price deep for Pegasos because of not meeting the qualifications

This is contrary to what it reads in Pegasos website:

Do you need to be terminally ill to come to Pegasos?
No, it is not necessary to be terminally ill to be accepted for a VAD at Pegasos.

That's good to hear.
Yea my last investigation on Pegasos was on 2017, so it's out of dates. I'm glad to hear they are losening the requirements.

Does anyone know how to contact Pegasos other than Email?
I've made the initial VAD Deposit, but after contacting them via email, they stopped responding since February 24th.
If the VAD is not approved, I would like the partial refund back and seek alternatives to CTB. But I'm starting to worry due to the stopping of response from their end.
