Hello everyone. Been working on a plan for the last few years, I'll lay it out for you and ask for suggestions if anything can be improved upon/fixed.

1.) Financial/legal arrangements: Notarizing my will, end-of-life care, funeral arrangements, noting all financial info and bank passwords in a notebook that I will leave. Log out of all socmed and internet accounts, wipe search history and bookmarks.

2.) Social arrangements: writing note for friends/family, clean house, separate belongings to be given away (note addresses of specific friends to give certain items to), teach my brother and friend how to continue the business after I leave. Transfer receipt of bulk order to friend (I need to talk to them about how to do this without them being suspicious).

3.) Location: find a deserted spot in the woods far from houses. I have a Glock handgun and 9 mm hollowpoints. Planning to aim right behind my ear, at the brainstem. I have practice with shooting and aiming but I'm not the best with it so I'd appreciate any advice on this part. I have been considering just buying a shotgun instead, which is definitely something I'm financially and legally capable of in my area, but if the handgun will work fine then I'd rather not have to spend the extra time and money on another gun.

I did read a helpful tip just now on the firearms megathread to do it in waist-deep water, so even if it somehow doesn't work and I fall unconscious but don't leave entirely from the shot, I'll still (hopefully) drown. So I was wondering if this might be something to incorporate.
